This is where my journey began

That photo above these words captures a young wife with big hopes and even bigger expectations. I stepped into marriage full of anticipation, believing I would somehow instantly know how to do it all: homemaking, partnership, loving well, walking in true biblical womanhood, motherhood, and mastering every skill I thought a wife should have.

Can anyone relate?

The truth is… I have not arrived. Not even close.

I am still learning. Still growing. Still being shaped daily by the Lord in marriage, home, heart, and calling. What I once thought would come overnight has instead unfolded slowly, beautifully, and often through trial, humility, and grace.

I created this blog as a place to share that journey. All of the things I have learned along the way. All of the adventures, wonderful mistakes, and unexpected blessings that God has used over the way. Life is not about being perfect but trusting the One who is perfect. On this earth, I will never have it all together. but I can share with any new mamas struggling with executive functioning, ADHD, raising kiddos, wife life, homemaking what practical things I have learned. So if you are ready to surrender those expectations to a perfect God and let God lead then follow along. Even if you aren’t quite there yet, stay tuned to the Holy Spirit and let Him lead.
